Zaid Ashour
Data Analyst Intern
Zaid is currently a senior at the University of Houston. Since joining The Lab, he has been a key part of the centralized analytics team, helping standardize messy client data into consistent, structured formats. He regularly supports the team by anonymizing sensitive information, mapping job titles to organizational attributes, and applying logic to clean and categorize datasets.
Beyond data work, he contributes to internal collaboration by documenting processes, streamlining workflows, and assisting team members with tasks across multiple projects. His focus on clarity and consistency helps the team work more efficiently and deliver clean, actionable insights to clients.
Outside of work, he’s enthusiastic about combat sports and loves keeping up with the latest in MMA. When he’s not watching fights, he’s out exploring new restaurants and spots around town with his girlfriend—chasing good food and better vibes.
