Zach Johnson

Senior Management Consultant

Zach brings over a decade of experience leading operational, program, and process improvement initiatives in the telecommunications infrastructure and service‑based organizations. His background centers on translating complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions by aligning process design, technology, and execution.

Prior to joining The Lab, Zach held leadership roles at Crown Castle, where he led national and enterprise‑level programs focused on process transformation, system modernization, and operational efficiency. His experience includes designing future‑state processes, migrating legacy platforms to enterprise systems, managing multimillion‑dollar budgets, and partnering with executive stakeholders to deliver measurable performance improvements.

Zach is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, reflecting his commitment to disciplined execution and continuous improvement.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing golf, and staying actively involved in his children’s lives by attending and coaching youth sports and supporting their artistic pursuits. He is also a passionate supporter of Oklahoma State University Athletics, particularly softball, where his wife competed for four years as a scholarship student‑athlete. Additionally, he volunteers at his church and serves on the Board of Directors for the Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department, supporting community leadership and service.
